A 4x4 vehicle had to be towed to safety in Somerset after the driver followed his sat nav in the sea. The hapless motorist drove the Land Rover onto the beach at Brean, Somerset, and parked half-a-mile out on the mudflats at low tide. Baffled Kevin said: "The driver, from Gloucester, said his sat nav system had guided him there, but he didn't tell us where he was trying to drive to.
