Lexus displayed its all-new 2016 RX at the New York International Auto Show Wednesday, highlighting the luxury SUV's new interior and exterior styling, as well as new tech features. The 2015 Lexus RX performs well in our rankings, as it's currently first out of 17 in our midsize SUV rankings. The 2016 Lexus RX 350 comes standard with a 3. 5-liter V6 engine that makes 300 horsepower (30 more than last year's model) and it is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Lexus says the 2016 RX has a stiffer suspension compared to last year's model for improved handling. The hybrid model, the 2016 Lexus RX 450h , also has a 3. 5-liter V6 engine along with an electric motor that combined make 300 horsepower (up from 295 horsepower in last year's model). In an interview at the New York Auto Show, Jeff Bracken, Group Vice President and General Manager of Lexus, said "engineers have given a lot of thought" to the features that are in the 2016 Lexus RX.
