The new Lexus ES incorporates a number of key updates, starting from its exterior, where a newer and bolder rendition of the trademark Lexus spindle grille and LED headlamps differentiate the new car from the old. Crucially, the new model boasts improved safety, thanks to the incorporation of Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Hill Start Assist into its array of equipment. Alterations to the spacious and luxurious interior of the new ES start off with the new Birdseye Maple Wood trim that is now standard for all variants. The front seats get new stitching for the quilted upholstery, with the ES 250 Luxury and ES 300h getting additional switches for the rear passenger to move the front passenger’s seat further forward or adjust the backrest angle.
