Thinking that the 1994 Lexus LS 400 is almost twenty-years-old, not many people would buy a a second hand one, although it’s a very sturdy sedan, and if you fiddle a bit with its looks by repainting it, changing the rims and lower the suspension,... Anyway, if you decided to overhaul a ’94 LS 400, you will probably want to change its stereo, a job that will require lots of patience and a screwdriver. Using a flat screwdriver, you have to gently pry open the wood trim on the lower center console and remove it. After that, put the gear shifter in L position and pull put the ashtray. Now, in order to gain access to the upper part of the radio and climate module, you’ll have to put the air vents down and grab with both hands on the space created. Pull out the whole central venting assembly and remove it. Now, having access to the top and bottom radio-AC assembly, you should see 4 screws, 2 down and 2 on the upper part.
