Want to kick it oldschool and bought a second hand 90s Lexus LS400. You might consider changing that worn out gear stick knob with a new one to freshen up the interior a bit. There are quite a few aftermarket ones but in this tutorial we will cover up the install of the Napolex LV-451 - LV455 aftermarket shifters. First thing first, take a screwdriver and pry-open (gently of course) the wood trimming that surounds the gear shifter on the center console. Take out the tab from the front of the shifter and remove the two screws, which will enable you to pull out the shifter. Then slide the new shifter knob, secure it with the screws provided and put back all the trimming you’ve dismantled earlier. Source: www.autoevolution.com
