Police make numerous arrests, respond to accidents - Journal Advocate
STERLING POLICE DEPARTMENT. June 24 At 7:27 p. m. Josh Allen Boone, 36, of Sterling, was issued a municipal summons, for theft at Wal-Mart. At 10:32 p. m. Chance Alan Robert Scofield, 26, of Sterling, was arrested at 620 Broadway St. , on charges of harassing shoves/strikes/kicks, obstructing telephone service, criminal mischief, child abuse - negligence and domestic violence. James Lee Taylor, 26, of Sterling, was issued a summons, at 1331 Platte St. , for child abuse without injury. At 12:58 p. m. Alexander Andrew Harris, 23, of Sterling, was arrested at Sterling Police Department, on a warrant out of Morgan County Sheriff's Office for failure to appear. It collided with the passenger side rear of a 1998 Buick Riviera, owned by Robert Buckles, of Sterling, parked facing north and fled the scene. At 10:02 a. m. Stephanie Marie Gednaiske, 23, of Sterling, was issued a summons, at 1209 Hamilton St. , for false reporting to authorities. June 22 At 10:16 a. m. Eric Morales, 33, of Sterling, was booked into the Logan County Jail on a warrant out of Sterling Police Department for domestic violence with a sentence enhancer, obstructing telephone service, false imprisonment, first...
