       1) the key code needed to cut the blade must be obtained for a fee

       2) the metal blade must be cut to fit your ignition & locks 

       3) the chip must be programmed to start the vehicle 

       4) the buttons must be programmed to open your doors. 

 

The internal cuts on the blade require a special machine "not found" at your local hardware store. Most locksmiths or dealers "will not" cut blades they do not sell because of possible damage to their very expensive cutters. If you locate a professional prices in most areas start at $20 per blade, add $20 to obtain your key code, & add $40 for programming.
