Mazda dealers will inspect owner's vehicles for subframe condition, if the lower control arm is either separated from the subframe or found to be close to separating, dealers will install a new subframe and reinforcement cross-brace to ensure... If the subframe is found to be intact and in good condition, dealers will install just the cross brace to ensure steering control in the event of the lower control arms separating. Mazda has a reimbursement plan in place in the event you have already paid for the subframe to be replaced on your vehicle.
