Bradenton woman killed in crash on US 301 - Bay News 9
A Bradenton woman died Saturday afternoon in a traffic crash on U. S. 301. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 1995 Mazda Protege was traveling south on U. S. 301 at 12:19 p. m. when the car drove onto the west grass shoulder. The driver then swerved to the left in an attempt to go back onto the road, but the Protege overcorrected and traveled across both the north and southbound lanes. The car then left the road, and the right side of the car hit a tree. Another passenger received minor injuries, and the driver, whose identity has not been released, was not injured, the Florida Highway Patrol said. Source: www.baynews9.com
