Woman carjacked at gunpoint - Pueblo Chieftain
Justina Sandoval told police that while at a stop sign at the East Side intersection of 11th Street and Nielson Avenue, an unknown person opened the unlocked driver’s side door and forcibly jerked her out of the car. She then took off running but did observe the suspect drive away in the vehicle, a recently purchased 2003 Black Mazda Protege, and with it, her purse. The car is valued at $6,500. A Yamaha dirtbike valued at $1,000 was reported stolen off the porch of a residence in the 100 block of Marian Drive Saturday. Also on Saturday, a 1996 GMC truck valued at $2,500 was reported stolen by Gerome Ulibarri from the 1200 block of Pine Street. Ulibarri told police he saw a male and female driving away in the truck, which had the keys in it at the time of the theft. Angelique A. Prien, 22, of the 1100 block of West 27th Street, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of criminal impersonation. Brittany Jean Flores, 28, of the 2600 block of Lynwood Lane, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of second-degree burglary. Diaz, 20, of the 1900 block of Ridgewood Lane, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Source: www.chieftain.com
