Pregnant North Carolina Woman Goes Missing on Day of Scheduled C-Section - KTLA

A pregnant woman from Salisbury, North Carolina, vanished on the same day she was scheduled to give birth via cesarean section, her concerned daughter told a local television station. Carrie Bradshaw-Crowther has not been seen since Tuesday morning, according to Lauren Lusk, who flew in from Kansas City to be with her 49-year-old mother during the delivery. Lusk told WSOC , a television station in Charlotte, that she had gone to get gas for her vehicle while her mother prepared to go to the hospital. She returned home less than 10 minutes later only to find the house unlocked, the lights off and Bradshaw-Crowther’s 2001 Mazda MPV nowhere to be found. “The longer she was gone — it was 6 o’clock — and we were supposed to be at the hospital, that’s when I knew that there was something to worry about,” Lusk told the TV station. Lusk said her mother had been excited about giving birth to the baby, a girl she’d already decided to name “Olivia Grace,” according to the station. Because if she does go into labor she won’t make it,” Lusk told the station. Source: ktla.com
