Canadian snowbirds behind Boston's locating in Casa Grande - TriValley Central

Casa Grande businessman Piyush Patel, along with Smita Patel and Canadian investors Sariena and Ken Cline and Marina and Jeff Stephenson, plan to open a new Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar on Cacheris Court, near Florence Boulevard. “There are an estimated 300,000-plus Canadian snowbirds that come to the area during the winter months so our concept having the influence of Canadians will give us a great advantage,” Patel said. The positive impact of the Canadian winter visitor population is felt each year throughout the Casa Grande economy - not only in the restaurant industry, Casa Grande Deputy City Manager Larry Rains said in an e-mail. “Indirectly, they have a positive effect on the tourism sector as well as the potential of bringing new residents to Casa Grande,” he said. The Clines and Stephensons, who have 25 years experience owning and operating other Boston’s franchise locations, will ensure the new eatery meets the company’s standards, according to a press release. “We are looking forward to expanding our business in Casa Grande’s friendly, vibrant and growing community,” Sariena Cline said in the press release. The new restaurant will have the same quality and atmosphere as any Boston’s brand eatery in Canada, he said. Source: www.trivalleycentral.com
