Car is being relisted after it sold with Buy It Now and the buyer had financial problems completing the purchase. Please make sure you have the funds to purchase the car or are pre-approved for a loan beforehand.

Vehicle is being offered with free delivery. For details and conditions, see the terms of the offer at the end of the listing. And it’s best to view the listing on a desktop or laptop computer. A smartphone won’t give you the same details. Also, if you are already familiar with the Mercedes C-class, you may want to skip over the background information below and go straight to the pictures and details further down in the listing.

This auction is for a very low mileage 6-Speed manual transmission 2008 Mercedes-Benz C300 Sport sedan finished in Barolo Red (aka Carneol Red) with the MB-Tex grey interior and aluminum trim. Over the last 20 years, manual transmissions have just about disappeared from all but a few sports cars and entry-level economy cars. Further, they are almost unheard of on a luxury brand like Mercedes except for a few two-seaters like the SLK roadster. So it’s exceptionally rare on 4-door sedans that are traditionally considered sedate family cars without much of the sportiness that a manual transmission portends. 2008 was the first year of the new C-class bodystyle code named W204, which was sold through the 2013 model year. The 6-speed was discontinued after 2011 due to slow sales and it’s estimated that only a few hundred were so equipped during the W204 production run. In fact, the W204 was the last manual transmission sedan that Mercedes sold in the USA. If you enjoy the driving satisfaction of a powerful rear wheel drive automobile with the control of a manual transmission, this car is for you. And if you’re a card-carrying member of the Manual Gearbox Preservation Society (Yea, there is such an organization, Google it.) and wear your “Save The Manuals” T-shirt a little too often, this car has your name on it.
