RARE key. Get a spare blank while there are still some around!
Important Fitment notes: Mercedes used many different types of blanks on their trunks from the mid 1950's to 1968. My best advice is to check if your trunk key has one of the following codes stamped on it: HF14, M1161SD, M73J, HU5, or MB28. If so, you can be pretty sure its a match. If your key has another number, check Pic #5 to see other possibilities ...I have many of these in stock. ALSO, If your key has a code of SD, KSD, or TSD stamped on it, followed by a number from 1 to 240, this might be your key. This is the SQUARE-HEADED version. If you have no codes stamped on your current key, compare it closely to the pictures above as its grooves need to match EXACTLY. Better yet, just send me a message with a picture of the key (front and back) along with any numbers or letters stamped on it. I will do my best to try to figure outwhat you need, and if I don't have it, I will try to find it for you (even if it is with another vendor).
Note that these vintage keys came from a long-shuttered locksmith operation and may not be cosmetically perfect. Finding large quantities of these old keys can be difficult and we reserve the right to substitute similar key blanks by different manufacturers if necessary.
