The rubber material will hold the floor mats in place. These mats also have holes for the factory floor anchors for an even more secure fitting. There is no trimming needed. Just set them in place and secure the front floor mat anchors in place.

SBR rubber is common to European production because of its lighter weight and reduced odor from the rubber content in the mats.
