Water leader: Flood retention drive 'stalled' and in need of reinvigoration - INFORUM

Jeff Lewis, executive director of the advisory Red River Basin Commission, said progress in identifying and getting approval for water retention projects for flood mitigation has been slow. Lewis' comments, made in an interview with The Forum, came as the Red River Retention Authority has compiled a slate of 20 watershed studies that could help identify water storage projects.
