MACKINAW CITY, Michigan — It was a Michigan invasion of Mini Coopers. More than 1,300 Minis crossed the Mackinac Bridge in northern Michigan on Saturday but fell short of the world record. In 2009, 1,450 Minis drove single-file in London. Mike Santora drove to Michigan from Colorado Springs, Colorado. He says he gets excited when he talks to fellow Mini owners at big gatherings.
