2016 Mini Clubman revealed; now with six doors - Autoweek

The new Clubman will be the longest and widest model that Mini has offered, which will help set it apart from the four-door Mini Cooper that will remain a more versatile variant of the Cooper hatch, rather than wading into direct competition with... The new longroof will be available in the base Cooper Clubman flavor which will make use of the 1. 5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine producing 134 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque, while the Cooper S Clubman model will receive the 2. 0-liter... The larger engine in the S model will be good for 189 hp and 207 lb-ft of torque, and aside from the six-speed manual the Clubman will be offered with a new eight-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. The smaller engine will give the Clubman a sprint time of 8. 9 seconds to 60 mph, while the four-pot in the Cooper S will get that time down to 7. 0 seconds.
