Pedestrian hit, killed by SUV in southwest Houston - KPRC Houston
A pedestrian was fatally struck by an SUV Monday morning in southwest Houston, according to police. Houston police said the accident was reported around 5:15 a. m. in the 6500 block of West Bellfort Avenue. The man was crossing West Bellfort when he was hit by a black Mitsubishi Montero Sport traveling east. Police said it's unclear if the man was in a crosswalk or not. Police said the driver stopped and stayed at the scene. The driver told police he had a green light. Source: www.click2houston.com
