Brian Keith Cassidy, 43, pleaded guilty on Monday to murder in the June 2013 bludgeoning death of his mother, Gail Conway, said Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph Coronato. Later that day, around 5:30 p. m. , Lakewood police Detective Jason Pederson spotted Conway's car on Lakewood-Allenwood Road in Howell. Pederson watched Cassidy get out of the car and walk a dog near the woods in the park, authorities said at the time. 6, when prosecutors are expected to ask that he receive a 30-year prison term and serve all of the time behind bars before becoming eligible for parole, said Al Della Fave, spokesman for the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office.
