Prosecutor: Killer tailed victim for miles - Cherry Hill Courier Post

CAMDEN – An accused killer followed his quarry through city traffic for several miles, then opened fire on the victim’s vehicle in a brazen daylight attack, a prosecutor alleged Monday. The 37-year-old Quann was fatally shot as he sat in a car at Trenton and Newton avenues, according to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office. Authorities said Williams and Quann were passengers in separate vehicles that left East Camden prior to the 11:30 a. m. assault in the Cooper Landing neighborhood. According to surveillance images, a white Chevy Tahoe “consistently followed” a silver Nissan Maxima between the two neighborhoods, said Assistant Camden County Prosecutor Christine Shah. Witnesses said the Tahoe blocked the Maxima on Trenton Avenue, a one-way street. Williams allegedly left the Tahoe to fire multiple rounds into the car’s passenger area. The driver from Quann’s vehicle remained at the scene, authorities said. The driver from Williams’ vehicle has been identified, but his name is not being released, said Andy McNeil, a spokesman for the prosecutor’s office. Source: www.courierpostonline.com
