Three teenage girls receive minor injuries when car crashes on SR 17 - iFIBER One News

A 14-year-old Moses Lake girl was driving the black 1991 Nissan Maxima north on SR 17 when she lost control while merging into the left lane near Airway Drive. She overcorrected the car to the right, then the left, crossed the southbound lane and rolled the car sideways until it ended on its side, against a fence, according to the Washington State Patrol. Two girls from Moses Lake, one 14-years-old and the other 15-years-old, received minor injuries. State patrol Trooper Darrin Wright said their policy, on investigations of children under the age of 16 years old, requires the investigation report be forwarded to the prosecutor's office to determine if the child will be charged.
