Deadly Motorcycle Accident On Highway 154 - KEYT
The California Highway Patrol has identified the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred last Friday. 20-year-old Ryan B. Bollay of Santa Ynez, was killed when his motorcycle collided with a 1992 Nissan Pathfinder making a left turn onto state Route 154. The CHP Collision Report states that Bollay was ejected from the motorcycle after crashing... The cause of the accident remains under investigation, and it's unknown if alcohol or drugs were a contributing factor in the accident. Emergency crews are on scene of a traffic accident on Highway 154. The motorcycle versus car crash happened just before 3:30 p. m. Friday near East Camino Cielo. Santa Barbara County Fire said the motorcycle rider was seen going at a high rate of speed and struck a Nissan Pathfinder SUV. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the CHP.
