Trenton man killed in Levy County crash - Gainesville Sun
A 5-month-old passenger in the second vehicle had minor injuries, the Florida Highway Patrol reported. David White was pronounced dead after arriving at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, according to an FHP news release. White was driving a 1996 GMC pickup truck west on U. S. 27 in the right outside lane, traveling slowly behind a lawn tractor. A 2002 Nissan Sentra driven by Dashel Nejee Stron, a 20-year-old woman from Archer, also was westbound in the same lane, according to the FHP release. Stron failed to observe White’s slower-moving vehicle, and the front of the Nissan collided with the rear of the truck, the news release said.
