COLONA – The life of Zachary Michael Phillips, 18-year-old son of Lyndsie McCoy, Colona, and Jamie Phillips, was cut short by an unmerciful act of violence. A time for friends and family to say goodbye to Zac will be noon to 2 p. m. Sunday at Van Hoe Funeral Home, Ltd. A brief committal service will follow at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. A celebration of Zac's life will follow 4:30 to 10 p. m. at the pavilion at Riverside Park, Moline. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the family. Zac was born on Dec. Zac loved playing with cars since he was a little boy. " Zac's dream car was his 1993 Nissan 240SX. He also had a 1996 Mustang Cobra convertible, which he received from his father as a graduation present.
