One killed in Hanover crash at intersection of Studley Rd. and Rural Point Rd. - WRIC
On Saturday, at approximately 3:40 p. m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Studley Road and Rural Point Road. Hanover Police say that a 2008 Nissan Xterra, was travelling east on Rural Point Road and failed to stop to yield the right of way. The Nissan Xterra continued into the intersection and was struck on the passenger side by a 2002 International Truck traveling North on Studley Road. The Nissan Xterra was occupied by two adults. The passenger of the Nissan Xterra, Crystal Mae Byers, 65, of Glen Allen, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash. The driver of the Nissan Xterra was transported to VCU Medical Center as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. Source: wric.com
