Alabama man arrested on multiple burglary charges - WRBL
Those previous charges are: Burglary third degree (3 counts), Auto theft (3 counts), Theft of Property First Degree (1 count), Theft of Property Second Degree (1 count), and Theft of Property Third Degree (1 count). Officers conducted an investigation into several burglaries and auto thefts that were reported at the beginning on July. Greer was developed as a suspect and warrants were obtained in connection to a burglary on Maple Street. Auburn Police enlisted help from the U. S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force in order to locate Greer and take him into custody. Agents with the Task Force spotted Greer operating a 2006 Nissan Xterra that previously been reported stolen near the intersection of Eastern Boulevard and Vaughn Road in Montgomery. Greer was taken into custody after he fled during a vehicle pursuit that ended after he collided with another vehicle. Greer was not injured in the accident and transported back to Auburn and charged with numerous burglaries, auto and property thefts.
