Car crash on Route 9 causes fuel spill - Asbury Park Press
A two-vehicle crash led to a fuel spill Wednesday night at Route 9 and Lacey Road, police said. Officers were called at 8:39 p. m. about a two-vehicle crash at the intersection, according to a news release by Sgt. When they arrived, officers found gas leaking from the fuel tank of one of the cars, a 2004 white Nissan XTerra. The Forked River Fire Department, which also responded, contained the fuel spill.
