But sales are falling fast, dropping by 2394 units to 17,684 through the first seven months of 2015, largely because Volkswagen’s Mk7 Golf is readily available in VW showrooms. Not only is the fifth-gen Camaro approaching replacement with an already-revealed sixth-gen model, the Camaro also faces a revitalized chief rival, the Ford Mustang , which was already outselling the Camaro before it was replaced by an all-new model. Camaro volume is down 280 units to 2006 through the first seven months of 2015. Mustang volume is up 36% to 4974 units, year-to-date. Yet Elantra volume through the first seven months of 2015 is still down by 4462 units to 27,884. That’s 2399 fewer sales than Toyota has generated with the Corolla, the only one of Canada’s seven best-selling cars which isn’t posting declining...
