Maine driver arrested after two-state police pursuit - The Union Leader

The incident began at 10:37 p. m. Sunday, when New Hampshire State Police learned of a black 2008 Nissan Versa operating erratically on Interstate 95 south in Greenland. Police learned it also was stolen out of Lewiston, Maine. Trooper George Sanborn tried to stop the Nissan as it left the Hampton tolls. As the car crossed the state line, Massachusetts State Police took over the pursuit at Exit 58 and ultimately stopped the car at Exit 51 with the spike strip. The driver, identified by police as Wesley Ruede, 22, of Oxford, Maine, was charged as a fugitive from justice, and is facing multiple charges in New Hampshire including receiving stolen property, reckless operation, disobeying a police officer...
