The distraction may increase the risk of a crash and/or vehicle occupants may fall out of the vehicle if they are not wearing a seatbelt, increasing their risk of injury. Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the date, lot number, and cavity code on the left front and rear door latches, and replace them, as necessary, free of charge.
