Man taken to hospital after car crash on Washington Street - WatertownDailyTimes.com
WATERTOWN — A man was taken away in an ambulance from the scene of a car crash at Washington and Winslow streets about 12:30 p. m. Sunday. Two cars collided at the intersection, causing one car, a Nissan Quest van, to crash head-on into a stoplight pole on the left side of Washington Street. The man in the van that hit the light pole was injured and was taken from the scene by Guilfoyle Ambulance. According to firefighters on the scene, the man did not appear to be badly injured and taking him to the hospital was a precaution. The car that hit the light pole was leaking engine coolant, which the firefighters from Watertown City Fire Department cleaned up.
