Porsche has launched the 2016 911 GT3 RS in Lebanon. The current generation 911 GT3 RS was first showcased at the Geneva Motor Show in 2015. Compared to the standard GT3, the RS variant gets a more aggressive exterior look. Moreover, the 991 GT3 RS gets a bigger engine with the 3. 8-litre unit present in the 991 GT3 substituted with a 4. 0-litre unit that produces 500 hp and 460 Nm of torque. The 911 GT3 RS can reach 0 to 100 km/h in 3. 3 seconds, with a top speed of 310 km/h. By comparison, the 911 GT3 sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 3. 5 seconds and has a top speed of 315 km/h. Porsche claims that the GT3 RS has a Nurburgring Nordschleife lap time of seven minutes and 20 seconds, making it the fastest 911 of the present generation around the track. In places like Beirut, one can’t just go on the streets and not see a Porsche. Source: gtspirit.com
