This is an original hood or bonnet from a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow, 1974, RHD chrome bumper car. This is the complete bonnet or hood assembly).. It will fit all Shadows 1966-1980, and all Corniche from the beginning through 1996.. except the Safety catch notes are the same as Shadow.. However US Standard cars had a crash safety catch which was introduced in 1973, so if you need the safety catch; it is Not fitted; meaning it is exactly correct for North American Shadows 1966-73, Rest of the world,1966-76; but if the safety catch is not required; could be used through 1980...Note, use this guide; my Compatibility may not be exactlly correct. ..This does NOT include the Original chrome moulding strip; which I do not have, but I Will include a bonnet side strip moulding from a MKIX Jaguar. It is high quality, with rounded point, same as original, believe it is chrome over brass. It must be shortened at the back. It includes the special retainer bolts. Threads should be cleaned with a die, but are standard fine thread.. Last photos show where chrome strip was removed. Bonnet has normal minor aluminum corrosion around the holes.Treat it with Aluma Prep, and prime with green or yellow phosphate primer..The bonnet pads are not included, as they were Not in good condition. NOTE, the rear corners were bent in storage, so must be repaired, also shown in last photos. Except for those minor flaws, this is in good condition, and the car was never in an accident.This is Not correct for Bentley, as Bentley bonnets had a different profile at the V line, due to the different grille.
