SSD Performance! Our SSD Hybrid Roof Rails for 2014 Subaru Foresters with "naked roofs" (those base models that came WITHOUT factory roof rails) are here! We call these "Hybrid" roof rails because they have the function and versatility of a traditional long roof rail but also the ease of installation of factory "fixed" cross bar. Now you have a much better
option than those over priced, limited function, factory "fixed" cross bars. Our
new Hybrid Roof Rails have all the cargo carrying advantages of long roof rails,
ease of mounting and allow the use of your traditional aftermarket cross bars placed anywhere along the rails for up to a 50" spread for added security
when carrying longer items like kayaks, canoes, long cargo boxes, ladders, etc.
We've designed these with an "off road" flavor and even
designed cargo tie down attaching points into the mounting brackets to aid in
securing your cargo more easily. These are solid and are rated to carry the same maximum roof weight rating of the Forester (150 lbs)
These Hybrid Roof Rails are made of all welded, 100% STAINLESS
STEEL for strength and corrosion resistance, then finished in a tough, black powder coat finish to blend with your
Forester's trim and look good for years to come. These are rock solid and mount
quickly and easily to your existing factory "fixed" cross bar mounts with NO
DRILLING required. All stainless steel hardware and mounting instructions are
included
