1978 Volkswagen Beetle Champagne Edition
- This is one of 1100 champagne edition for this year, they were only made in 1977 and 1978 with a total of 2200. One was given to each Volkswagen dealership in America to sell during these years making it very rare and not a car that was able to be ordered. This car is a two owner car with known history and service records from new. It has been driven only 500 miles since 2015, garage kept in a climate controlled storage facility, it has always been on a battery tender and started and ran monthly. It runs and drives great with no problems at all. It is 100% original as well with no modifications. The interior is in mint condition with no rips, tears, or discoloration. It only has 23,833 miles on it at the moment. The convertible top is manual though it is still very easy to operate with no hinge problems or catching of the top on the moving parts. It has always been thoroughly detailed to be in its best looking condition. Never driven in the rain since my ownership either, It is ready for a new home.
