This round c.v. joint and boot kit fits the rear drive shaft on S&V40, 50, S-60, V-70, XC-70, XC-90 all wheel drive, R models included, 2003-2006.
This kit will work to replace the front or back cv joint. Usually you only need the front replaced. Order 2 if you want to replace both.
The diameter of this part is 78mm outside diameter, this will work on the front joint, center (if equipped) or rear joint of the drive shaft. 2.4 liter, 2.5 liter or 2.9 liter engines.
A major sign your front cv joint is bad is either vibration or a "ting ting" noise (especially when cold) or both.
Their are NO instructions given to mount this part, either go to your local library and read how to do it or have a qualified person install it. Carries a 3 month warranty against defects.
