This item consists of one Denso (OEM) camshaft position sensor that will fit the following models and years: Volvo C70 2002-2004 Volvo S60 2002-2007 Volvo V70 2002-2006 Volvo XC70 2002-2006 Volvo S80 2000-2001 Volvo XC90 2003-2006 The camshaft position (CMP) sensor monitors the position of the camshaft. The camshaft position sensor's output is used with the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor's data to determine when cylinder number 1 is on its compression stroke. This information is used for control of the fuel injection and direct ignition. This is a hall effect sensor and has been tested to verify its functionality.
