Police: Murder victim's credit card used in Ypsilanti - Detroit Free Press

– Less than 10 hours after Jeffrey Kebler was found stabbed to death in his home northwest of Grand Ledge, two men were caught on surveillance video using his credit card at a party store in Ypsilanti, police said. "We need to locate them, interview them and determine what their knowledge of this incident might be," Clinton County Undersheriff Larry Jerue said. Police said his brother stopped at the home on State Road after Kebler didn't show up for work. The men in the surveillance images used Kebler's credit card at 7:17 p. m. that day, Jerue said. The same two men were captured on video a couple of nights later at another party store in that area, he said. They did not use Kebler's credit card during that visit, he said. The video images appear to show paint or drywall mud on the men's clothing, indicating they might be laborers, Jerue said. They were using a silver or gold Toyota Tundra pickup truck from the late 1990s or early 2000s, he said. "We are looking at all possibilities, as well as any affiliation these folks may have had with acquaintances or friends of Mr. Kebler who may have known of his habits," he said. Source: www.freep.com
