Orland teen dies when he is ejected from truck in Colusa County - Appeal-Democrat
Alex Preciado, 21, of Willows was driving a 2000 Toyota Tundra at a high speed northbound approaching the Maxwell Rest Area when he allowed the truck to drift into the center median. The vehicle crashed into a wire perimeter fence and came to rest on its tires in a rice field with knee-high water. A Maxwell firefighter and a CHP officer performed CPR before he was pronounced dead, the CHP said. Whether Galvan was using a seat belt is under investigation. Source: www.appeal-democrat.com
