Del. police investigate Route 9 crash - Delmarva Daily Times
The crash occurred at about 7:43 a. m. Tuesday morning as Joseph M. Rose, 33, of Georgetown was traveling west in a 2011 Toyota Tundra on County Seat Highway approaching Asbury Road, police said. Eduardo Adrian Giorgi, 47, of Salisbury was traveling on a 2005 Kawasaki R650 motorcycle east on Route 9 also approaching the intersection with Asbury Road, police said. As Rose was attempting to make a left turn onto Asbury Road, the motorcycle was traveling on the shoulder of the road passing a number of vehicles stopped in traffic while a separate non-contact vehicle, also traveling east on Route 9, was... Police said the front bumper of the truck then struck the motorcycle on the left side ejecting Giorgi forward and into the grass on the southeast corner.
