Woman Uses Credit Card Records to Track Down Suspected Truck Thief - NBC New York
Applying a bit of gumshoe cunning, a Long Island woman tracked down her stolen pickup truck and with the help of her son and a bystander detained the suspected thief until police arrived. The woman, whose identity wasn't disclosed by Suffolk County police, reported her 2001 Chevrolet Silverado stolen on Saturday from the Handy Pantry in Mastic Beach, investigators said Sunday.
