The first incident involved a 29-year-old Milton-Freewater man who tried to buy a Ruger 9 mm pistol at about 3 p. m. at Ranch & Home, 85342 Highway 11. Milton-Freewater. The man said he was a juvenile at the time of those convictions and operated under the notion his record would be clean once he turned 21.
