2015 Ram ProMaster City Towing Folly and a 2003 Toyota Tundra Viewer Guest Review - The Fast Lane
Our recent attempt to tow with the 2015 Ram ProMaster City taught us that you have to take the good with the bad. While we enjoyed our MPG stint and our motorcycle transport stint with the 2015 Ram ProMaster City, our towing adventure never happened. For some reason, we could not get the trailer lights on our Jeep trailer to work with the 2015 Ram Promaster City’s plug. No lights, no go. Fortunately, we did get a slick little Viewer Guest Review (VGR) of a 2003 Toyota Tundra in the same video. Eric Tompkins from Nevada, USA – does a fine job illustrating and detailing important information about his sweet 2003 Toyota Tundra. Look, I know some of you are critical about promoting something as old as the 2003 Toyota Tundra. When it came out, the Toyota Tundra slotted in a category that fell between mid-sized and full-sized trucks. It was an excellent rig for people who wanted more Taco and less F-150. In some ways, many wish Toyota would have left it alone to inhabit this category alone. I am looking closely at the Promaster City and REALLY want to know if this will work for my needs or if I must get a used 1st gen Tundra Crew cab. The Transit Connect is nice, but towing capacity is maxed out for my needs. Source: www.tfltruck.com
