Sexually-transmitted disease numbers in Texas counties - Chron.com
Someone forgot to tell a bunch of people in Texas because some areas carry high occurrences of sexually-transmitted diseases. Center for Disease Control's most recent data shows some counties, both urban and rural, are hot spots for a variety of STDs, including chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis (first and second stages). "STDs are public health problems that lack easy solutions because they are rooted in human behavior and fundamental societal problems," the report reads.
