Woman goes on rampage at Whataburger drive-thru - Chron.com
This morning a woman at a Tyler-area Whataburger threatened fellow customers and staff with violence for reasons as yet unknown. According to the Tyler Morning Telegraph the incident happened at a Whataburger location on Texas Highway 155 just outside Loop 323 shortly before 8 a. m. Friday morning, at the height of the usual breakfast rush. This week also saw a man claim to be a police officer to get ahead in the drive-thru line at a Whataburger in Odessa. Twenty-five-year-old Manuel Chico allegedly activated a siren and flashed red and white lights on his truck in order to signal other cars in the drive-thru to move out of his way on Saturday, Local Big 2 News reported. An actual officer in uniform spotted “Officer” Chico and tailed him back to his apartment in his personal vehicle where he was arrested, according to the Odessa American. As of yet there is no law in Texas dealing with cutting in line at Whataburger, or for impeding a fellow Texan’s right to get hot and fresh taquitos in the morning. Source: www.chron.com
