2016 Toyota Hilux's Australian supply challenge - CarAdvice

“We’re very confident in the vehicle, it’s going to be amazing when we finally do launch it, it’s completely capable of doing what we need, but [we’re] not sure if we’re going to get the number that we need. We’ll have to think carefully about what we’ll do at launch and how we’ll go about it. ”. If a customer has to wait, then they generally won’t if opposition vehicles which are as good or better are available sooner. Maybe, I don’t know for sure, but govvy red tape has certainly held up vehicles before in this country. But if I worked in a Toyota dealer I’d want Toyota Aus to get their act together and sort the supply drama, because in the need it now life we’re in, it will hurt sales. I think a Hilux will be my next ute when my RTV Falcon goes to ute heaven. No mistake when a Hilux chosen. Maybe there’s more powerful utes with nicer cabins. Source: www.caradvice.com.au
