Toyota Prado, New Zealand's most popular medium-large SUV, has been facelifted - with the big change the installation of a brand-new turbo-diesel engine. Prado has had its 3. 0-litre 1KD-FTV turbocharged diesel engine replaced by a newly-developed 2. 8-litre 1GD-FTV unit - the same engine as will be aboard the new Hilux ute that is due for New Zealand launch in November.
