Florence man, 30, arrested in robbery - Pueblo Chieftain

Police, with the assistance of the FBI Safe Street Task Force, were able to apprehend Embrey. Chris Noeller of the Pueblo Police Department said extra manpower provided by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force helped in quickly establishing a perimeter around the store, leading to Embrey’s capture. On Saturday, a 1992 Honda Civic belonging to Tyler Fernandez was reported stolen from the 2000 block of Acero Avenue. Keys left in a vehicle led to the loss of a 1998 Mitsubishi Montero valued at $1,500. On Saturday, Renee Sanchez told police her son had just returned from purchasing groceries and had left the keys in the vehicle. Sanchez was told by a neighbor that a male ran up from down the street before jumping into the vehicle and driving off. Also on Saturday, Francisco Cornejo told police his 1998 Toyota truck, valued at $5,000, was stolen from the 100 block of Cambridge Avenue. A potential auto theft in the 2000 block of Belmont Avenue was thwarted Saturday after the owner of a 1987 Nissan truck confronted a female who was inside the vehicle.
