2012 Nissan Titan Review - MotorTrend Magazine

Boasting V-8 power and Nissan's F-Alpha ladder frame platform, the 2012 Nissan Titan enters the ring with such segment stalwarts as the Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Chevy Silverado, and Toyota Tundra. Though the Titan's specs make it up to the task for most full-size jobs, sales have never caught up with domestic competitors since the Titan truck was introduced in 2004. Now entering its eighth year of production, the Titan has added more power... Equipped with Nissan's 317-hp 5. 6-liter V-8, an engine also shared with platform-mates Armada and Pathfinder, the Titan has ample power. Comfort and convenience are not at the top of the Titan's list of priorities, but the truck still gets such standard features as a CD audio system, 60/40 split rear bench seat, six cup holders, and two bottle holders to help make it more livable... The aging Titan gets new optional equipment for 2012, including a Sport Appearance package for SV models. That package is comprised of 20-inch Dark Hyper Silver-finished aluminum wheels, a dark grille treatment, body-color front and rear bumpers, black step rails, PRO-4X-style seats, Titan side graphics, fog lights, and a lockable.
